SongSheet Remote provides a seamless wireless control experience for SongSheet Pro users on the iPad. By simply mounting your iPhone or iPod Touch near your guitar, musicians can eliminate the hassle of reaching for the iPad during performances.

The connection process between SongSheet Remote and SongSheet Pro is uncomplicated and can be completed in a few steps:

<ol>
 <li>Ensure that WiFi or Bluetooth is enabled on both your iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch. It is not necessary to connect to a WiFi network for the apps to communicate.</li>
 <li>Open SongSheet Pro on your iPad, followed by launching the Remote app on your iPhone or iPod Touch.</li>
 <li>Select the first song from your desired set list in SongSheet Pro and tap the phone icon located in the top left corner to access the Remote browser.</li>
 <li>When your remote device appears in the browser, select it to send a connection invitation.</li>
 <li>Upon receiving the invitation in the Remote app, tap it to establish the connection.</li>
</ol>

If there has been a prior connection between SongSheet Pro and the Remote, they will attempt to auto-connect when navigating to the song display view.

Once connected, various gestures can be utilized to control SongSheet Pro. For instance, tapping on your iPhone's screen allows progression through song stanzas, while swiping facilitates moving to the next song. Additionally, if a Bluetooth controller, such as an AirTurn pedal, is linked to your device, it can be used to execute commands through the Remote app.

Returning to the connection screen is straightforward; simply tap and hold for several seconds. Furthermore, users have the option to customize command functions for supported gestures and foot pedals via the configuration screen.

The Remote supports several essential commands for controlling SongSheet:

 <li>Navigate to the top of a song</li>
 <li>Select next/previous stanza, chorus, or bridge</li>
 <li>Play or pause</li>
 <li>Switch to next/previous song</li>
